Beautiful Japanese floor lamps from the city of Nikko.

Nikko Shonin (1246-1333), also known as Hoki-ko or Hoki-bo, was a Buddhist monk. According to the Nichiren Shoshu tradition, he was the direct successor appointed by Nichiren. He is also the founder of the Taiseki-ji temple at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan.

Size: Height 45cm and diameter 20cm.
Material: Wood and jute fabric.
Frame colour: Dark cherry.
Fabric colour: Bone.
